The process involves removing factory-loaded rounds apart with kinetic or hammer-type pullers, drilling out the cavity just short of the bullet jacket, filling it up with black powder or any explosive material you plan on using and then installing #11 percussion cap below its top edge after sealing off moisture and allowing it to dry completely.

It also recommends working in lots of five to ten bullets at a time as some materials could get damaged beyond use during this whole procedure.
